Denominational Ministry
I am deeply committed to our faith, our history, and to the broader community of Unitarian Universalists. My family have been active members of our local Unitarian Universalist church my entire life. I attended my first General Assembly in high school, and through that experience I learned a lot about what it meant to be Unitarian Universalist, and the ways in which our individual congregations are part of a much broader community. During college I served as the Unitarian Universalist representative to my college Multi Faith Council and was selected as Council Chair during my junior year. I remained active and connected to Unitarian Universalism during my young adult years before starting seminary. I was selected to be the Young Adult Caucus Chaplain for General Assembly in Louisville, Kentucky, and have participated in General Assembly as minister (and candidate for ministry) since 2013. I was invited to be a Candidate Liaison to the Ministerial Fellowship Committee, and now serve as a Vocational Advisor for the Ministerial Formation Network.
I deeply value connections I have built through the wider network of Unitarian Universalist communities across the world. I believe Unitarian Universalism is a unique, powerful, and life-saving faith tradition, and proclaiming our message of love and grace is a core part of my calling to ministry.
